Hidden House

A contemporary mews house located in Shepherd’s Bush, organised over two levels, and structured around a 7-metre high internal lightwell. Bedrooms are top lit and 4-metres in height. Living, working, dining and study space are located in one 3-metre-high flexible room. Living spaces are defined by polished concrete floors and bespoke joinery.

Hidden House is an intimate urban house, offering a spatial experience defined by daylight, volume and rich materials.

Entry to the house is through the butterfly door – a single opening in the front façade creates a deep threshold between the busy street and the quiet interior, a transition from the public to private world.

Location

Shepherds Bush is the cultural heart of West London. Historically home to some of Punk and Reggae music’s most important innovators. With fast links to the city, a vibrant food and music scene and plenty of green space, Shepherds Bush provides a diverse London living experience with a community feel.

Hidden House has access to a range of blossoming independent fooderies on its doorstep. The Ginger Pig Butchers, Happy Sky Bakery and Doreen’s Coffee House are within a stone’s throw from our front door.

A short walk away and you’ll also discover Bush Theatre, Bush Hall, The Market, and plenty of parks and open spaces.

Shepherd’s Bush Market is a 107-year-old market situated in the heart of west London. With a diverse range of traders and goods, there’s something on offer for everyone.

Hidden House is surrounded by a range of independent cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars, meaning you’ll never be short of places to go.

Enjoy the rich selection of shops around the Askew Road area, such as Peckings records – just a stone’s throw away from Uxbridge Road.
